Picked the Travelodge for our 4 day visit to Aberdeen and can't say anything bad about it. Located just off Union Street it boasts friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a highly convenient location all at budget prices. The fact they have door men checking who's trying to come in during weekend nights is an added bonus.

The hotel is very easy to find, just a few minute walk from union square. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms themselves are very clean and modern with very comfy beds with no noise from outside. I couldn't find anything wrong at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights, take earplugs with you!!! Don't know what this is next too think a nightclub but Friday Saturday nights are unbearably noisy.

Slept with windows open and fan on as rooms very stuffy no air con. Although very clean and beds are comfortable.

So the noise from the street was absolutely awful it carried on till about 4 in the morning I think I was so exhausted I don't remember falling asleep.

Great location right next door to Trinity shopping centre and Union Street is just round the corner. Less than 10 minute walk from train station which is joined on to Union Square with a lot of the main brand shops and a upper level has a variety of eating places.

The room was great value in a great location. It was mentioned at check in that the rooms were hot as it was summer, however they had opened the window and switched on the fan to try and cool the room. There was a sign in the room with suggestions on how to keep the room cool. The temperature of the rooms is clearly a recognised and on going problem, I would have hoped that the hotel would have installed air conditioning to negate this seasonal issue. Other than that my stay was as expected I would be happy to stay there again.

We appreciate the time you have taken to review our hotel.

Rain or shine, we want all guests who pass through our doors to enjoy a great quality and comfortable stay. This is why we are saddened to see that the higher temperatures had such an impact on your experience.

In our ongoing efforts to beat the heat, we do offer fans and lighter bed linen for guests at reception, however we fully appreciate and do apologise that you were not comfortable during your time with us.

Your feedback is very important to us as it is the starting point we use to act on improvements and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Brilliant stay in the Aberdeen Central travel lodge. Nice and friendly staff. Value for money at breakfast. One funny thing happened which was in room 422, we had a resident seagull tap on our window at 5.30am most mornings which was a memorable moment for the kids.
