“Fabulous stay in an gorgeous cottage placed in a picturesque landscape”
Reviewed 10 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

After a very warm welcome, we enjoyed our stay in the beautifully decorated lighthouse cottage with all it's amenities like fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and entertainment centre including wifi. Furthermore, the location of the cottage is astonishing because of tranquility and freedom nearby the sea with fabulous views over Aberdeen. However, the city centre can be easily reached in less then 10 min by car, which makes it a perfect location for sight seeing as well. Finally, contacts with owners and checkout was always quick and appropriate. Therefore, we can highly recommend a stay without any restrictions.

“the best in aberdeen”
Reviewed 11 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Its tough to find decent accommodation at a reasonable price in Aberdeen. Lighthousing it was just a beautiful way to come home - the light, the splendid views, and the fact it is still a working lighthouse made for a special visit. This place is a hidden gem. Modern affects such as wifi and coffee pods, high thread count sheets and a few select breakfast items in the fridge made a very special place also very comfortable. Jeremy was a charming and consummate host, even giving us a lift to Sainsbury's on our first night. The only drawback is that it is remote but buses were actually much easier then they first look, and taxi to the city was only 10 GBP.
It would be an absolute pleasure to stay here again.
