We got problems With Our booking in Maud at a B&B. The Pitfour Arms was Our rescuer. Is was a "couple" of miles more in the end of the afternoon. We arrived when the rain started. Good timing. It is may be a simple place, but they provided really nice rooms, good mattresses, and With shiny, modern Baths (why are "all" bathrooms in GB so bitterly Cold, even in summer?), room for Our bikes in the backyard, warm Hospitality, and a real ale on tap!. Their breakfast was trad. Scottish and good. They did not make supper, but it was a take away over the crossing and the landlady laid a Nice table to us and we had Our drinks from the bar.. Good deal, served all of us.
