Stay one night at the briarbank guest house and it’s great! The room is warm and gorgeous, stuff is really kind and friendly! The cookies in room is really sweet, love that. The breakfast is fantastic with a range of choices! Really a nice place to stay!!!

My wife and I stayed for one night only in this well appointed and well run establishment.
Chris, the young and energetic proprietor was extremely helpful and provided a very enjoyable stay ( the Campbell bedroom ). Like others have mentioned, the climb up the steps might be problematical for some but Chris is willing to carry cases up from the designated car parking area, if required. Very recommended!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Our room was spotless & a really comfy bed. The bathrobes and wine glass were s nice touch and our breakfast was delicious with loads of selection. The guest house is just a 5 min walk into Oban, there are a few steps up into the property but we didn't think this was s problem.
I also accidentally left my jacket, which has been sent back to me without any issues. I would definitely recommend staying at Briarbank if you are visiting Oban.

The guest house couldn't be located at a better place. Close to the center of town with lots of stores, the harbour, ferries to nearby islands, train station, restaurants, a grocery store, and of course Oban Distillery. If you want to explore Oban and around by bike, there's also a bike rental place not too far from the guest house.
Chris and his wife run this very nice B&B. He couldn't be a nicer host, letting us check in early, helping to carry our luggage up and down the stairs, and getting us breakfast items before the normal breakfast hours because we booked the early bird tour to Mull, Staffa, and Iona Islands. Room, of good size, was upstairs, nicely furnished, very clean with en suite bathroom. Chris has done a very good job with this guest house. Nice view of town on a quiet street with parking spots down. Breakfast was very good, my husband particularly loved the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon that Chris prepared for him. WiFi worked very well, too. I would definitely stay here again.

A delightful B & B situated 2 minutes walk from the ferry terminal & town. Private parking is available. The owner is extremely friendly & very accommodating. Rooms are lovely: clean, with equipped with a spacious bathroom & relaxing shower. We stayed here the night before walking Ben Nevis and it was a perfect stop over (2 hours from here). Breakfast was delicious. There are quite a few steps up to the entrance; worth considering if visiting.
