Over from Dublin for a long weekend during the festival. Great central location for venues, just off the Royal Mile. We also found it convenient for the more traditional sight seeing - Castle etc.
Clean, comfortable apartment. Well provisioned and enough room for us and the two kids. Double glazing makes it quiet enough, considering it's location

A long trip from Canada made us tired on arrival but were met by a warm welcome from Dave so this cheered us all up.
The apartment is in an awesome location for everything. All the attractions are within a short walk and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. We all slept well in the super comfy beds with no noise interference. The apartment was smaller than we're used to in Canada but spacious enough for our requirements.
We went to Edingburgh for the Fringe Theatre Festival. We could not have planned for a better location. The apartment was very cozy and a great place to rest between shows. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. The bathroom was new and we never ran out of hot water for 4 adults. The entrance to the building could use better maintenance and a couple of times we had to open the door for other tenants because they were locked out.
The property is very well located in Edinburgh city centre, so that's quite easy to discover the whole town on foot or by buses from this point. Neat, adequatly equipped, the appartment is nevertheless a bit small for a family of two adults and two (big) teenagers. Thanks to Dave Stewart, it's also very simple to get into the appartment and then to leave it.
