Even in early spring as the flowers are tiny and blooming this place still managed to take our breath away. With views of the castle and Scot monument there are plenty worse places to eat your lunch!

The Christmas Market is a mix of both items for Christmas Presents and Carnival rides. I believe the Market to be the best in Great Britain it was definitely voted as such, for both what is on offer, the atmosphere which is definitely family friendly and the view from the Scott Monument. I advise people to bring a large carrying bag because with the gifts on offer, you may not be able to carry everything you want to gift as presents.

The Market is a real boon to the City both for locals and tourists and definitely something that other cities should be duplicating.

A lovely quiet setting through the city, where the Loch once was.
So green and peaceful, worth a walk through.

Lovely place to get away and relax on a sunny day. Not far from the Royal mile but once in the gardens you could be miles away. Very tranquil and relaxing. Lovely to view the castle from here also.

Great park, nice place to sit and watch the world go by, feed the pigeons etc. Lots of repair work going on when we were there, due to the New Year celebrations.
