My family and I stayed here for 6 nights during our recent trip to Edinburgh, August-September. This one of the best decision I had made in regards to vacation accommodation. The Owner Bill was very accommodating and Friendly. When we arrived Bill gave us the tour and noticed that there were complimentary breakfast cereals and milk, this is great since we just arrived from our flight.

Rooms are clean, water pressure good, bed comfortable, my daughter and wife happy and I am a happy man

The apartment is located in a perfect location in Edinburgh, 10-15 minutes walk to princess street, 25-35 minutes walk to old town, bus stop is located within 3-5 minutes away(Dean Street bus stand) , you can call a cab and the taxi driver will be outside the apartment within 2-5 minutes (cost is between 6-8 Pounds to old city/castle). It is not noisy or crowded since it is away from princess steer(new town) and Old town(castle and the attractions. Located in a very safe upscale neighborhood

We stayed at he Learmouth apartment which is in the top floor, Notice! if your not use to walking or climbing or have injuries that effects your walking and climbing abilities do not book the top floor. But if you are able to without any difficulties you are in for a great treat. Great view, you will be able to see the Castle day time or in the evening, you will be able to see the ocean and the town of leith. We were able to see the castle fire works from our room during the last fringe day(Saturday) and o boy was my daughter happy. Tranquility for me is to see the castle every night with the lights and enjoy the view.

Great City,Great People, Excellent Accomedation

Room Tip: We stayed at he Learmouth apartment which is in the top floor, Notice! if your not use to walking or climbing or have injuries that effects your walking and climbing abilities do not book the top floor

What a gem! A lovely Georgian apartment-newly renovated and spotless. The decor was very nice and comfortable. The updated kitchen gave us the option to eat in or dine out. Great location--we walked everywhere,

Our week-long stay at 10 Clarendon Crescent was absolutely carefree, with clean, well-appointed apartment; convenient, quiet New Town location; and helpful, welcoming owner. Recommended for first time and experienced visitors to Edinburgh.

We selected this apartment based largely on the almost unanimous favorable reviews - and we weren't disappointed. Billy McLellan runs a great operation. Our apartment was the Belgrave, on the first (U.S. 2nd) floor. Good thing it wasn't higher because there is no elevator and getting our luggage up the stairs was a workout. Free wifi and good location. About a 10-15 minute walk to the major historical areas of Edinburgh. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped. No washing machine though. If you have a choice, try to get a room not facing the front of the house if you want to avoid traffic noise.

Room Tip: Rooms away from from are quiter.

This is the second time we stayed in these apartments, separated by two years' time. These stylish, very well designed apartments are very well managed by Billy McLellan. We stayed in "Learmonth." We had a charming, lovely view out over the Edinburgh skyline from our living room with dining table in alcove. The kitchen -- where we cooked several meals -- was very modern & well-equipped. The bedroom was large. Only caveat is that this particular apartment is at the top of the house -- not a problem for us, but might be if you have a bad knee. Great feature is that these apartments are located just over Dean Bridge in a residential neighborhood, an easy walk to the castle and other sights, but just far enough away to be peaceful and away from tourist hoards. A much more pleasant alternative to staying in a hotel, because of the large amount of space, real rooms, and ability to eat in when you want. I'd definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Understand that you will have to walk up stairs to reach these lovely rooms. If this is an issue, discuss with Billy when you book.
