Bad points.....

I can’t understand why anyone staying in Edinburgh wouldn’t make a beeline for this place. Situated on Princes Street directly opposite the castle, it’s location is second to none. The view from the restaurant/bar area is fantastic and so reasonably priced, particularly if you book ahead. After a night out you can head back to the bar for a drink and a view of the castle illuminated against the dark night sky. The buffet breakfast seems quite pricy but you get what you pay for - all you can eat buffet style and absolutely everything you could possibly want is available. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. The staff can’t do enough to make your stay memorable. There was a mix up with our room which was like something out of a Laurel and Hardy movie due to two bookings of the same name but the staff were on the case and sorted it out and we all had a good laugh about it. This was our second stay and definitely won’t be the last.

Stayed one Saturday night. Had booked early and requested a Castle view and whilst this could not be guaranteed, in the event we got a large family room on the fourth floor with a fantastic view. Room was immaculate with exactly the same facilities as far more expensive hotels. We were also allowed to drop off our luggage hours before we were due to take the room and the same courtesy was extended after we had booked out. This allowed us to do a lot more exploring unencumbered by baggage. Breakfast was great and the staff were without exception helpful and friendly.

A return visit to this wonderful hotel.Just about to end our 5 nights stay and sad to be leaving. Lovely large warm spacious family room, very comfortable king sized bed (great nights sleep,)and additional sofa bed. We had breakfast most morning with a very good wide selection of hot and cold food at very good price. Love Edinburgh and Premier Inn and hope to return soon x

As a frequent traveler I was so impressed with the staff and service of this facility! They are truly show the meaning of excellent customer service. The management should be proud. The interior could use some updating but the staff makes up for it. Job well done!
