We were so lucky to find this apartment for our trip to Edinburgh. The location couldn't be better, it is situated in a courtyard just off the Royal Mile and an easy 10 minute walk from Waverley train station.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped, it had everything we needed for our 3 night stay - so much so that we chose to stay in and cook rather than go out for meals in the evening! We didn't spend a lot of time in Edinburgh as we were travelling each day to the Commonwealth Games but I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again for any future visits.

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to be the first guests at Kitty & Tom's beautiful Royal Mile Apartment. The communication was first class throughout and we really couldn't have hoped for a more welcoming and enjoyable place to base ourselves for our long weekend.

The apartment is situated in a 17th century building just two minutes' walk from the hub of Edinburgh and overlooks St Patrick's churchyard. The area was so peaceful it was hard to believe we were that close to the vibrant and busy Royal Mile!

Spacious, open, airy and light, the apartment has been restored to an exceptional standard throughout whilst keeping all of the old charm and character. From the tasteful soft furnishings to the creaky wooden floors to the huge windows to the grand fireplaces, it's just a delight to relax and spend time in. The bathroom and kitchen are high spec and although we didn't cook whilst we were there the cupboards and shelves were well stocked with utensils, crockery and cutlery should we have wanted to!

We loved every moment in Edinburgh and would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the city. We're almost too scared to rave about it too much in case it's fully booked when we come again... we wouldn't be surprised!
