Went here with my family for a quite drink, we didn't even finish our drinks as the staff's attitude was so stuck up and we felt so unwelcome we left before we drunk our drinks.

Dear Ceri,

Thank you for the feedback, i am shocked that anyone would be made to feel this way by any of our staff. I would really like to know more about what happened that day so that we can ensure that this kind of behaviour never happens again. Fee free to call me at 01315561884.

Paul McNally,

Good quality food in lovely surroundings. Interesting interior. Good for a special occasion. Quite an intimate restaurant and also long bar to enjoy a drink before dining

My girlfriend and I had a hugely enjoyable evening here last Friday. The food was delicious but what topped it off was the wonderful service from the two charming waitresses - Caroline and Ada who where absolutely delightful. Thank you for a lovely evening on a cold, dreak night in Edinburgh.

We had a reunion here - recommended by one of my friends - and the atmosphere was brilliant. I particularly loved the depictions of various sports - on the walls - but was surprised to see that there wasn't a panel on golf!

Lovely, old fashion, very unique Scottish restaurant and bar. The inside of the place is like a walk back in time, very elegant looking bar area. I dropped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and the place was doing a brisk business, is just enough off the tourist paths, is across the street and around a corner from the Balmoral Hotel. Had a couple pints and chatted with the barkeep and some patrons who picked out my American accent and wanted to know where I was from in the States.
