“Perfect-home from home”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We booked to stay here for a family wedding, we were a family party of 8 ranging from 15-46.
the apartment had everything we needed and felt very homely, warm and cosy even though its so big with high ceilings. we were made to feel very welcome on arrival and all the information we needed was available in a folder to read at will. there is a fantastic bus service that charged £1.50 and is one price however far you travel. we took the buses to town and back and taxis are also in abundance and not bad priced. there plenty of places on the door step to eat from cheap and cheerful to more expensive to suit all tastes and budgets.
I am in no doubt we will be back to visit our family in Edinburgh very soon and would definitely stay here we recommend highly.
Thanks the Cassidys !

“Group visit ”
Reviewed 16 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed at the Blair 2 when visiting Edinburgh for leisure. Flat's clean, tidy, comfortable and have most facilities you can find like if you were in your own home except internet broadband but was not so much of the pain as we were most of the time out. Great location to travel to and from, short distance drive to most attractions/city centre.

“Lovely pad for the Fringe”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We rented the Blair's apartment for a weekend at the Fringe. Upon arrival Charlie gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. The flat is exactly as pictured, very light and airy with three well-equipped bedrooms. Everything we needed was there, with great takeaways and a tesco superstore in walking distance.
The only thing we underestimated was the distance to the town center, so we ended up spending a fortune on taxis. However, if you are on a leisure trip and have time you can just get the bus right in front of the house.
Wifi wasn't working for us, but everything else was in perfect order!
A very cosy and homely place to come back to.

Thank you so much for your lovely review and although biased we agree that the flat is superb. Taxis can be expensive and as Edinburgh has an award winning bus service which as you said a bus stop is 2 minutes from front door. I would always recommend using the bus. At peak times I estimate a 15 minute bus journey to city centre which I think is pretty good for visiting all the main attractions. Look forward to seeing you next year maybe

“Dont Judge A Book By Its Cover”
Reviewed 12 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

When we first arrived at Blair 2 we were a little concerned about location - above a row of fast food outlets - however when we entered apartment any concerns were dismissed.

The apartment is light, bright and airy with plenty of room for 6 of us. Very clean with good facilities in kitchen - you certainly do not get any "smells" from the restaurants below. Landlord was very helpful, friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

Transport links into town were very good - although they did take a little longer than the 15 minutes intimated, but this could have been because of Fringe/Tattoo traffic.

Our only slight concern is the requirement for either an en-suite or additional bathroom but I understand this is being looked into - dont let put you off tho - its amazing how a rota can work!

All in all a good base to explore Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
