Decent Mexican food. I ordered a Burrito which was ok. Service was quick. Staff was helpful. They serve a lot of dishes with rice on the side. Card payment is accepted. On pricing, it is not the cheapest one in the area. Personally given the taste and over all ambience, I feel they charged a bit more then they should have had. But all in all you won’t come out disappointed. One star knocked off as it is good but not an out of the world experience.

Had a starter of mixed nachos followed by a vegetable fajita
Really nice and tasty but the portions are big so you need a hearty appetite
Enjoyed the meal

Because of the recent reviews, we passed this restaurant several times, until the Inn on the Mile Pub refused our reservation because we had children with us (age 10 and 12 - nothing posted on reservation or website to indicate any issue with children) Pancho Villas invited us in and were so friendly and helpful. Every dish we had (nachos, quesadillas, and tacos) were delicious and reasonably priced. I do not understand the bad reviews for this restaurant. As a southern American familiar with Mexican food, everything was delicious and generous portions. Don’t let the bad reviews deter you from coming here. We were happy with our entire experience.

When we first entered we were standing for over 5mins before any staff arrived to greet us. No apology, greeting or even smile from the man server who the full dinner very clearly didn't want to be there.

The food was very lovely and speedy service. The young girl server was very friendly too asking us how our meal was with each course.

Definitely room for improvement however with the amount of meat in their meals as the tacos and enchiladas felt very empty.
Also there isn't any atmosphere in the place caused by a lack of personality mainly from the staff who stood eating biscuits on their phones at the bar the full time.

I would still return however as the food was enjoyable.

Me and my partner visited Scotland over a year ago and are keen on Mexican food. Having seen this on Tripadvisor, we decided to check it out. Not too far from the station, we were worried it was a tourist spot. We loved the food and the service so much, we went back 4 more times on our trip.

We loved it here so much, we got a plane back up specifically to go back to this restaurant however we were less than impressed. Has this place changed ownership? We ordered the same thing as last time, but this time we were only served 2 taco's (There used to be 3 or 4?), the taco's had basic contents inside of them.

The nachos were stale, there was a lot of grease at the bottom of the plate and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant had changed...

The only good thing about this restaurant is the salsa... The hot salsa and the mild salsa are presumably home made, and very tasty.

I wouldn't come back here again, however very disappointing as we deemed this as the best restaurant we had been to (until the other day)
