Stayed in an executive double for £100. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished. Very comfortable bed, good quality modern furniture, nicely coordinated soft furnishings, and an excellent ensuite with a really good power shower. Flat screen wall mounted TV, coffee & tea making facilities, phone, hairdryer, good mirrors, and plenty of hanging storage space for clothes. Good soap, shampoo, shower gel - Scottish Fine Soaps Sea Kelp which has a lovely fragrance.

Husband was meeting up with some old friends, so I had a room service meal - salad nicoise, followed by fish, and then biscuits & cheese to finish. It was all very tasty and generous portions.

Breakfast was buffet style self-service. Good selection of cereals, fruit, and juices - then good selection of all the usual hot items - sausage, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled egg, tomato, etc.

Staff were all polite and helpful. Can't really find much to fault this hotel - other than that I noticed that our bedroom window frame looked like it could do with some maintenance - so perhaps they are in the midst of an ongoing refurbishment programme.

Would be very happy to stay again at this hotel.

Very pleasant stay, staff attentive and professional. Food is good, with choices at a range of prices, would suit children,
Property beginning to look a little tired.
Location is very accessible by road being adjacent to a fast link to the motorway system.

Room Tip: A Georgian mansion that has been extended over the years, all rooms pleasant but would choose those with view to front.

Up for sale and in need of bedroom refurbishment but good value overall.

Breakfast disappointing.
Should provide Scotch Morning Rolls, I would have thought.
I, in fact, had a refurbished room on this occasion which was excellent.
Restaurant dining pretty good for the money.

As a regular customer of the Dean Park I cannot praise the staff enough but on Sunday my partner and I booked for the Carvery...absolutely out of this world great choice of starters and dessert with all meats in the Carvery cooked to perfection chef who served the food was so nice and cheerful waiting staff a credit to the hotel. We headed into the bar for a few drinks and had a lovely conversation with the bar man Lewis such a nice young lad very polite and again cheerful. You made my normal depressing Sunday an absolute treat keep it up guys
