Our family have recently returned home from our first visit to St Andrews. The accommodation in Southfield was perfect - extremely clean, comfortable, with plenty of room and so close to all amenities. The information pack provided by our host Margaret gave us information on everything from how to operate kitchen appliances etc to information on local attractions and samples of local restaurant menus. We could not have asked for a more perfect and welcoming home away from home. We plan to return to St Andrews next year and without doubt will be hoping to stay in Southfield.

This review starts before we even got there as the owner was helpful and accommodating. We were attending a wedding in the town and had certain needs to ensure a successful visit. The owner was flexible to ensure we had what we needed. The property has been cleverly and carefully renovated internally to provide all modern comforts. Everything was clean and comfortable with helpful information for visitors provided. We enjoyed a very relaxing and comfortable stay in this lovely town, If we return to St Andrews we will definitely try to book this accommodation again. I can't fault the house in any way.

A very comfortable and well equipped house, very convenient for walking into St Andrews. The owner was very easy to communicate and deal with.

Margaret was a wonderful host; though we met only via the internet and on the 'phone, she was considerate and very accommodating (many thanks from baby Turner).
The house was beautifully presented, clean, spacious and well equipped.
It was just a short walk from Southfield to the centre of St Andrews; a beautiful, essentially medieval coastal town. With just a three day (four nights) visit we were left wanting: wanting to return.
