This was the best of the 5 places we stayed throughout Scotland on holiday. It is near town, about 5 minutes. It is in a quiet, rural area. Parking is on site. There is a living room for guests to enjoy. They also provide a communal fridge for guests. Breakfast was excellent. The innkeeper even specially purchased gluten free bread for my breakfast. The innkeepers provided excellent recommendations for food and activities. Very friendly people, and we have stayed in several B&Bs over the years. The rooms have cute skeleton keys for the doors. There is a putting green and sand trap on the property for the golfers in the group. There are games and a pool table as well.

This is a guest house on the site of the old St Andrew’s station with a converted railway carriage in the grounds. Ours had a comfortable double bedroom with a shower en suite, a little kitchen and a cosy lounge plus an outdoor verandah. It was quaint and very comfortable but as we were there for a wedding a long mirror would have been good! Breakfast in the main house was first class and the hosts couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend!

Cosy b&b with old train carriage converted into two bedroom compartments. Made excellent with personal, friendly service from the family running it. Superb breakfasts, relaxed environs and a well kept golfer friendly garden makes for a relaxing stay just ten minutes from St Andrews and its many golf courses. If that's your thing. If not it's all still very pretty round here. Either way, the owners make you welcome, help you out and take pride in their place and their work. A five star place for sure

Room tip: It's close to town and Golf City Cars are great if you don't fancy driving

Stayed here while touring Scotland. Had a great stay. Rooms were great. Hosts were amazing , and gave us great help for the area. Breakfasts were great, good quality and lots of choices. Location was good but you will need a car to see St Andrew’s.

It was great !!!. Ailsa is lovely, the breakfast are awesome and the station is so cute. Wonderful experience.
Most of the rooms could be king bed or twins.
The enviroment is peaceful and relaxing and the station itself is really warm and friendly.
