Beautiful traditional hotel, wonderfully quiet and cosy in the heart of St Andrews. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Really lovely, friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Delicious Scottish breakfast that really set us up for the day. Will most definitely stay again!

We had a triple room one night. The room was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. we returned a couple of nights later into single rooms. The experience was exactly the same. Great little hotel

I loved it! This hotel has character and warmth. The room we had was small but perfectly fine, and it was just what we needed. The location was brilliant with free parking. Everything we needed from shops, bars and restaurants were within 400 yards.
The breakfast room was a delight as were the breakfasts, with friendly and efficient service.
I would definitely go back.
I have two suggestions. First, ask the receptionist for some training in the use of the room key. I could lock the door, but couldn't then remove the key from the lock. It was easy when one acquired the knowledge. Secondly, the cord from the kettle in the Bunker Room doesn't reach the plug.
It's a measure of the the excellence of this hotel that it is still has the 5* rating.

I brought my wife and daughter for the first time. They don't want to stay anywhere else. We will be back and we don't golf so that isn't the main attraction. We just like the rooms, the breakfast, and the location.

This place was awesome and the Lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. I accidently ran into this hotel when I was searching for places around St Andrews. This was everything I wanted and expected.
