Stayed here early September with 8 guys for a golfing vacay. Plenty of room for 8 adults and all our stuff; including 8 sets of clubs. Everyone had their own bed and there was one more bed available if needed. One lucky guy even got a king-sized bed to himself. Two showers were clutch and having a fully functioning kitchen that was very modern and recently remodeled was nice too. Huge room for lounging and our own private fenced in backyard from grabbing a smoke or enjoying a little sunshine with a pint before dinner.
As for location. You couldn't do much better. We did not rent a car and simply walked around town our entire stay. We did take cabs to and from the golf courses which were only 5 to 6 blocks away. Cab ride for 8 golfers with clubs was 5 pounds with tip. The Whey Pat is a pub of mostly locals that was our stop on the way home every night. By then end of the week they made us feel like locals as well.
The property managers actually use a little space in front of the building as their office. Any questions or concerns could be and were answered immediately.
Too many nice things to say but if anyone was considering this place; I would love the chance to help and answer any questions you may have.
Great location near the center of St Andrews and also close to the legendary courses. Clean, in very good condtion and well furnished. 5 bedrooms and spacy/comfortable living room made it perfect for group of 8 people.
We stayed in this property for a week, for a friend's wedding and reunion of our group of university friends. It was the perfect base for our return to St Andrews with tons of seating; spacious, extremely comfortable bedrooms; great outdoor space (Scottish weather permitting); and a great location, extremely close to town. The property was well supplied with kitchen wares and the letting company was responsive and friendly. If we ever return in a large enough group we will definitely stay there again.
Thank you to Gillian for checking in on us and making sure everything was in order. All great, beds perfect and plenty of accommodation not to mention the added bonus of parking. Excellent wifi and Sky to to watch the golf and the Olympics. A great spot for which to explore the town and an ideal location for golfers. Been going to St. Andrews for over 20 years and this is definetly the best property. I will be back. PS Gillian is good, but the sea gulls are beyond her control!

I was the trip captain for a group of eight golfers who stayed at this location for one week. After a lot of research, I choose this place for the proximity to St. Andrews Golf Course and the price was reasonable . It worked out great for us! We walked to pubs, restaurants and the golf course. The home was clean and we had plenty of room for 8 guys. Gillian also checked in on us the first day and she was very nice. The only negatives were the Wi-fi was intermittent and the seagulls on the roof were very loud at night.
Overall we enjoyed our stay...
Thank you Fife Cottages...
