I always wanted to see the Highlands, Lochs and castles of Scotland. This year I finally had the chance.
Today I took the tour and it was absolutely amazing. The first stop at Loch Lomond is something I will probably never forget. This beautiful scenery paired with a nice boat cruise and amazing weather were truly mesmerising. A break at noon for lunch at Aberfoyle gave the opportunity to realx and get a look around the little town. Although it would have been good to shorten the time spent at that stop to get more time at the last point of the tour. On the way to Stirling Castle we had a few chances to stop and take pictures. As we arrived at Stirling castle, we had about an hour of time to enjoy. I have to say, that a little more time at the castle would have been nice. Along the travel we had the chance to get musical impressions on the tour bus, from old Scottish songs, with their roots deep in history to bagpipe songs.
All in all the tour was the best choice I could have made. The day was great, which was also thanks to our tour guide Eddie. He was extremely friendly and his way of guiding us and educating the group about the Scottish Highlands and history, with an enjoyable sense of humour, always put a smile on the participants' faces. Eddie always was willing to answer our questions and all I can say is, that the lucky people who get to travel with him next will have an amazing experience and an opportunity to create unforgettable memories.
Don't wait too long and loose the opportunity!
Greetings to our amazing tour guide Eddie.
Many dear greetings
