Good base for a visit to Glasgow. Small but comfortable rooms, with kettle (tea and coffee etc.), hairdryer and TV. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and cooked fresh to order. Very close to Kelvingrove Park, galleries and west end restaurants. On good bus route to city centre and airport. Lots of stairs (up to rooms and down to breakfast room) and no lift, so may not be good for those who struggle with stairs.

This hotel is centrally located and has many good restaurants within easy walking distance. It is within 2 old houses in a pleasant crescent with no car park but limited on street parking. Breakfast was full fry up etc. Staff friendly. No lift and 3 stories. Room basic and a little cramped but clean with en suite shower. So absolutely fine as a no frills b&b in a good location.

This hotel is in an older building which is beautifully refurbished with its original high ceiling and tall windows. Housekeeping is immaculate, bathroom is not huge but very well appointed, beds very comfortable. Coffee, tea and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent, cooked to order. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to downtown with easy access to public transportation.

Loved this quaint small hotel and would definitely stay when I am next in Glasgow
It is family run and everything is just so.
The breakfast was very good.
There are nice restuarants nearby namely the ox and finch and the sisters restuarant
But remember to make a reservation or you will miss out

We had three nights at this hotel and were very pleased with the choice we had made . It is a pleasant walk from the city centre of about 25 minutes. However, you can take the bus from a stop close to the hotel. The Sightseeing Bus also passes the hotel if you are keen on doing that trip around Glasgow.
The immediate area is very well served with bars and restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel. The hotel is conveniently placed for a visit to the Kelvingrove Museum and to the University of Glasgow. We also walked to the superb Riverside Museum.
We were made to feel at home in the hotel and all staff were helpful from the moment we checked in. Breakfasts are cooked to order and eaten in a pleasant basement room. Our accommodation was quite roomy and looked out on to the road. We were impressed with the decor of the room and the overall cleanliness of the hotel too. The only slight issue for us was what we considered to be the rather uncomfortable bed.
