This was a beautiful place to visit. Some of the crypts and tombs were incredible. The graves go all the way up to the top of a large hill and at the top there are some fantastic views of Glasgow.

Cemeteries are not everyone's thing, but if you are interested in that niche of human history you will enjoy a visit here. It's relatively small compared to, for example Pere Lachaise, but it 's no less interesting, and the views are great too.

It's a bit of a walk uphill from the city centre, but is worth the effort. I've never seen anything like the scale in both individual pieces and the place as a whole.
