This was meant to be a Groupon meal for 4, but one of party was unwell and couldn't make it, so the staff very kindly packaged up a takeaway for her, so it could just be popped in the microwave oven to re-heat. Was admittedly quite a limited menu for the Groupon choices, but we all found something to please us.Can recommend the tasty haggis bon-bons two of us sampled as starters, and the pate was apparently very appetizing too.The pizzas ordered for main courses were medium sized and quite rustic looking, but got votes of approval all round.Their serving of lasagne was generous and filling,( although a bit bland and lacking in seasoning in my humble opinion) and served up with garlic bread. We all enjoyed the novelty of eating within The Merchant Square with it's buzzy vibe, and would have no reservations in returning to sample other dishes.

Couldn't fault the service, young staff were very attentive and efficient. Popped over a couple of times to make sure all was ok.
It was a two course 5pm deal including a bottle of wine...
Very good value..starters were good..stuffed mushroom for me and Haggis Bon Bon type starter for my wife.
Not very big portions but adequate enough.
Our family lasagne is the best but theirs was very good..I had pizza which was freshly made and very tasty.
They only slight complaint was that it was a bit cold..the restaurant is in Merchant City Square so this was not unexpected..but really didn't want to eat with my coat on.
Would go again

It is worth visiting this restaurant purely for the seafood risotto, which almost brought me to tears it was so tasty. It is absolutely teaming with fish and the spicy napoli sauce complemented the fresh seafood perfectly. My girlfriend had a spicy Italian sausage pizza which was also delicious. Brilliant atmosphere on a busy night and you can stare into the other restaurants in the square and people watch (which is always entertaining) Great attentive staff and an extensive wine list. Definitely go!

This place has an excellent value pre theatre menu. The quality of the food was good and the portions fairly large given the price. Also had a decent bottle of wine for £16. The waiting staff were very attentive and we had absolutely no complaints. Would certainly eat here again.
