“A perfect base for exploring Glasgow”
Reviewed 29 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

The flat's location just off Byres Road in the West End is faultless; it takes 30 seconds to reach the subway or a bus stop. Equally the immediate area is packed with quality shops, bars, cafes and restaurants to suit every taste. We were a party of 6 adults + a toddler [in a cot] and stayed for a week; the flat kitchen was exceptionally well equipped to meet our needs when we decided to eat in, and the bedrooms/sitting room were well appointed and tastefully decorated. The only minor drawback [which I know has been commented upon previously] is that the shower enclosure is extremely "cosy" .

“Lovely flat in fabulous location”
Reviewed 13 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Great flat with lovely high ceilings and wooden floors typical of Glasgow red sandstone tenement. Very comfortable. Couldn't be better situated just off Byres Road and with the subway a couple of minutes walk.

“Excellent flat and brilliant location”

Really excellent accommodation - spacious, well-kitted out flat in West end of Glasgow. So convenient for transport, shopping, culture etc. Would highly recommend. Our thanks to Glen for a great weekend.

“Couldn't have asked for more...”
Reviewed 22 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Lovely atmospheric appartment in a brilliant location for exploring west end. Right opposite subway with ten minute ride to central station and brilliant choice of restaurants and cafes within easy stroll. The property is very well equipped including loads of towels, comfy beds, and two hair dryers: all spotlessly clean. Being on the second floor it may not be great for those with mobility issues but it helped us work off the cake!. Our host was helpful and flexible, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great city break. Excellent value for money - a real treasure!

Liked best: Atmosphere: contemporary twist on traditional themes. Light and airy.
Liked least: Had to faff about with boiler to get shower temperature right but this was hardly difficult.

“Excellent location but.....”
Reviewed 30 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We were booked to stay in the location for 3 nights and ended up extending for an additional night. Glenn was wonderful about that portion. The location was great, right in the West End. Very close to a subway station. The apartment itself was okay. The bed in the first bedroom was broken and propped up with a piece of wood. It also really needs a new mattress, as you can feel every spring in it. The window covers do nothing to actually block out the sun light that comes up VERY early in the morning in the summer. The shower was very difficult to use without soaking the bathroom floor. One of our children had an accident in the bed one evening and didn't tell us about it. Glenn was very rude in his email to me about it accusing me of not letting him know on purpose. Because of this I cannot recommend this place to anyone else.
