This piece of architecture is really not very functional. What looks quuite nice in panoramic photography, is not that special to use and very average on inside. It is in middle of nowhere.

I was here with my daughter fro YES concert on Friday 16th. Fantastic concert, seats 3000. Row K was quite a bit back but we thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Glad we weren't under the gallery. Good acoustics, seats comfortable and not cramped. No side gallerys so try and get closer than row k. Very good security and checking, straight through with no messing around. They do drinks and refreshments but we didn't use these.

As a I have never been to this venue - and as a nostalgic trip - I went to see Bananarama in The Armadillo and wasn't disappointed. What a fabulous place - you can see the stage well from everywhere, and the architecture is just cool inside and outside. Recommended for a visit!

We were here to see Bill Bailey on 17th Feb. Toilets were clean despite being incredibly busy, there was a (downstairs) bar open but we didn't use it, It was relatively quick to get in despite there being a long queue. Be aware that large bags are not permitted in the auditorium. We were in row F (Stalls) and the seats were very comfortable and we had a good view of the stage. The show was brilliant, utterly superb - not sure how much credit the venue can take for that though! :)

The concert was great and a sell out however the upstairs bar was not open and the two that were open were painfully slow , so much so my partner missed the first 5minutes of the 2nd half - good venue and close to city centre but really need to look at the demand inside for drinks and snacks
