I had the medium fish supper, and my daughter had a smoked sausage supper.
The fish supper was near £8 and the smoked sausage supper was £5.95.
Going on prices at home its around £7 for a large fish supper and £3.80 for a smoied sausage supper. It was takeaway, so a bit overpriced as far as I am concerned. I can understand these prices if you are sitting in.
The food we got was good, we did enjoy it., although I still would not say big price for quality food, it was no better than what we get at home locally.
We went for our chippy tea on Monday 16th July, standing in the queue there was a stale smell, I wondered if milk or something had been spilled on the mat at the counter, customer side. However, we went to the benches outside to eat our tea and I could smell it outside. Possibly it was the drains. Not a nice smell when your ordering and eating tea. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was a plumbing issue, I gave them 3 marks for the food being good, the pricing as takeaway was a fail as I see it.
As someone who runs a business, by all means charge for giving good quality products and/or service, but don't insult people.
