We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time in the spotlessly clean pods which had everything you needed for a cosy and comfortable stay. As there were 4 of us the Bothy was like a welcome Aladdin’s cave and a place for us to socialise.
Ken & Gill were so friendly and welcoming, and we loved hearing his stories from his time in South Africa round the BBQ which Ken expertly cooked for us.
We chose to have breakfast each morning served in the B&B which was superb and set us up for the day.
A lovely quiet location however within easy walking distance of Aviemore.
Thanks for everything and hope to see you soon

This b and b is run by a fantastic and friendly couple. Very very welcoming and really cosy. Fantastic breakfast and will definitely return when in the area. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. We turned up on motorbikes and the welcome was fantastic.

Room tip: Places to eat are close. And very quite.

We broke up our journey north to stay here since our daughter wanted to visit the polar bears at the Highland Wildlife Park! The red squirrel room had three comfy beds. I enjoyed sitting in the lounge watching Andy Murray battle it out with Otte on TV. Walking distance to town centre.

I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first ever glamping trip but I was not disappointed!

From minute we arrived Ken & Gill were so welcoming and so helpful.

We stayed in a guest room the first night and then had 2 nights in a pod. The room and pod were both immaculate. The pod had lots of storage space and it was great to have the bothy to prepare food & get any extra things I’d forgotten to take.

We spent a lovely evening out by the campfire where my daughter got to sample some South African chicken and sausage meat before making s’mores!

The breakfast!!!! Soooo good!

Travelling as a single parent can sometimes be a bit stressful but I honestly felt like we were staying with family. My daughter even went out to the camp fire to give Gill a goodnight hug before bed on our last night!

We’ve already rebooked!

Whoah… what a fantastic place to stay.

While touring Scotland we booked one night in the B&B. On arrival we were greeted by the most friendliest hosts I have ever met. Ken and Gill are perfect hosts.

We booked a double room, which was perfect, every amenity you could wish for. Extremely clean and quality bedding and bathroom amenities.

We were unable to find anywhere for dinner in the evening and Ken & Gill offered to set a table in the TV/Dinning room so we could bring back a take away, just perfect!

We opted in for breakfast and boy are we please we did. For £10 we had the best breakfast on our whole Scotland road trip. Delicious fresh fruit with yogurt (thanks Ken) followed by a Scottish Breakfast.. even Haggis (Thanks Gill). Gill also bakes the most delicious Banana muffins.

Location is a 2 minute walk onto Aviemore main Street, plenty of free parking on site too. Just wished we lived closer to visit again, even if only for breakfast.

Thanks again for being the perfect hosts – Bei Dankie!
