Description: Bella Italia in Inverness boasts a prime city centre location close to the riverside and just moments away from Inverness Castle. The dining room is an inviting space decked out in Bella Italia's signature rustic style. Warm tones, tiled flooring and walls adorned with huge poster prints create a welcoming ambience. As for the food, the a la carte menu is wide and varied featuring a good selection of pizzas, pasta and grilled meat and fish. There is also a superb set menu where you could be tucking into an Italian salad for starters followed by crispy pancetta and mushroom penne pasta with an Italian wine sauce and rounded off with cream filled profiteroles with a hot chocolate sauce.

Kids food splattered on plate, it was meant to be spaghetti, but it was pasta pieces. Gluten free pasta was rubbish and bland, espresso had far too much water in it (Making it an Americano almost) and the other Coffee tasted of chemicals of some sort, and was too hot. When asked if everything was OK with our meal, I told the server the problems, he shrugged, nothing more! Would not go back, a few fab places across the street and even down from it if you want something proper.

The Italian waiter is lovely and knowledgeable. The food was delicious! Anti-pasti to start and pasta for main - yum!

We went for a diner in a cold Sunday night. It was nice and warm inside. We sat and chose and were eating in no time. Very efficient and very nice food. Very nice staff as well. Location is perfect, right in the heart of the city.

Visited the Inverness Bella Italia in mid March 2018. The meals were very poor compared to previous visits. A dish which should have had certain ingredients, were served without. The waiter told me that they had run out of the ingredients. Surly, the order should have been amended. A beef burger was served extremely burned to a crisp and only had one small lettuce leaf on it. (priced at £11.29) and just a few French fries. The Italian meal ordered tasted bland and was very poorly cooked. Something has gone wrong with this restaurant, which needs correcting, before it loses its clientele.
