This is a really good value for money B&B. We had a small double with private bathroom (although this was separate to the room) and paid £60.00. There is no private parking, but parking on the road around the corner was not a problem.
Armadale was very clean and modern, friendly owner, good breakfast and exactly what you would expect for a slightly cheaper B&B. The kit kats in the room were a nice touch.
Close to centre of town – just a few minutes walk over the river. There are loads of B&B’s down the road but this one is certainly very good if you need a night in Inverness.

Spent two nights there before heading north to the Western Isles. Very friendly owner, who appreciated the chance to have a chat about the weather. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, handy for town - a walk across the bridge takes you there in five minutes. Warning: there is no offical private parking as most spaces are for permit holders. However, we found a space a few yards from the guest house and grabbed it for the two-day stay.

Nice little guesthouse very close to Inverness centre so walk in and out within 5 minutes. Greeted by very nice guy and shown round - room was small but nicely finished, separate but private bathroom isn't ideal but didn't bother me too much. Price is keen for what you get, would happily go back. Parking - I got lucky and parked right at the door on the street, there were a few spaces so maybe ok. Internet in room, free and decent speed.

We spent a few days in Armadale. It is a pleasant area with walks and historic information. The Guest House was very comfortable and the staff very helpfull. They collected us from the ferry and took us back for the bus and I accidentally left my bag in the car but while trying to decide how to get back and collect and still get the bus the car returned with my bag. Excellent service. We did this stop over when we came up on the West Highland coast rail and then crossed over to Armadale from Malaig before moving onto Portree and then across to Kyle of Lochalsh and over to Inverness by train. A very enjoyable holiday with lots of variety and our stop over at Armadale guest house made it all the more enjoyable after our enjoyable journey up from Glasgow. I would recommend Armadale as a quiet relaxing part of Skye and perhaps not so well known as other areas and if going there a stay at the Armadale Guest would be enjoyable..
