My wife and I just finished spending 3 nights at St Anthony's and are really happy! The property is very well maintained and the hosts, Dave and Gill, were super accommodating. One morning we were leaving prior to the breakfast time, and Dave came and made sure that we were fed and had coffee. The breakfast both other days was really good. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were excellent. The view from the chairs on the front of the property make you just want to sit and relax. My only caution would be that if you are walking, the hill is very steep. If you can handle 10 minutes of fairly strenuous walking, no problem, if not it might be a good idea to take a taxi or bus.

Many thanks for your review Bill. Obviously, the 10 minutes strenuous walking is only one way!, the walk downhill is very easy!! As you say, the reward of the walk is the view and being in the town, the ability to be in the High Street within a 10 minute walk is appreciated.

Thanks again.

We stayed there one night and everything was perfect!!
The location was stunning, the room beautifu and comfortable with views on the lake, the breakfast delicious with plenty to choose (suitable for vegetarians) and the hosts were so charming and warm.
It was a pity that we only stayed there for one night, but we will definitely repeat if we travel to Scotland again!!

We stayed 2 nights, we were really pleased with the bedroom which had a nice en-suite. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was lovely and well presented. The breakfast room was great as it overlooked the loch. Dave and Gill were really friendly and helpful giving info about the local area.

Many thanks for your lovely review. The points you mention are ones we like to focus on, so it is pleasing that they are appreciated.

Maybe next time, you will be lucky and have the bedroom with the Loch view!!

Thanks again.

I had a fantastic stay at this B&B. It has the most beautiful views down across the town and loch and the hosts couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. My room was warm, spotlessly clean and well-equipped and the breakfast was delicious. Both my room and the breakfast room have stunning views. Dave and Gill take time to chat to their guests and make sure everything is going well. They also went out to their way to help me get the best out of my stay-- such as finding out about tour and travel availability and getting me brochures. I had the most relaxing and enjoyable and would go back without hesitation.
