We stayed for two nights during August 2013. The owners, a husband and wife team were very helpful, especially when we had an issue logging on to the free wi-fi (our fault, not theirs). The room we had was very comfortable and we slept soundly both nights. The breakfasts were excellent and we also ate there both evenings due to the lack of nearby options. Despite this, the meals were very good and not expensive. We used the hotel as a base to visit nearby Cawdaw Castle and Glenfidich Distillery. Recommended.
