Great wee find. Will definitely go back either summer or early autumn.
Lovely hosts and lovely cottage.
Just back from September weekend break, this cottage is great for a peaceful stay, it"s just outside the town centre. The cottage is set in the most beautiful garden reaching down the to the banks of the river Nairn. The location is ideal for using as a base to discover the surrounding areas, nice local pubs and restaurants. The owners, Tasha and Dean are lovely and extremely helpful, nothing was a problem for them and would highly recommend this place without hesitation.
Stayed with my 12 yrs old daughter from 28th Aug for 3 night mini break. Fantastic location to explore the area, half an hour to Inverness, 45mins to Loch Ness with much more on the doorstep.
The annexe is attached to the owners bungalow with its own entrance. Spacious for two with everything you could need. Spotlessly clean and cosy with a fab comfy bed. Tasha is a lovely host with lots of personal touches and extras left for our arrival... The biscuits and crusty loaf were very much appreciated!
The property is located by the river with a private access down onto the river bank which was a lovely place to sit and relax for an hour or two. I even got to see a heron fishing!
In all great place to stay with fab hosts... Can't wait to return one day.
Just spent 4 very relaxed days here with my husband and two children 12 & 13. Roasting marshmallows by the river Nairn and exploring the Scottish Highlands. This is a perfect base, with Loch Ness 45 minutes away, many hidden water falls and castles to explore. Beach walks in Nairn town which is 10min away. Thanks to Dean, Tasha and their two children for making us feel very welcome in their home. We can't wait to return to see what the winter offers us at spindrift cottage.
