Don't pass this up if you're near Pitlochry. The tour takes about an hour and gives you a good sense of what making Scotch was all about before the big boys took over. Very welcoming tour guide who gave us a nice overview of the craft. Enjoy a tasting of several of Edradour's well-made whiskies, and get a souvenir glass in the process. The glass and tasting alone were worth the price of admission. Now hoping I can buy their product in the States.

This tiny distillery is a jewel! Located just outside Pitlochry, the gateway to the Highlands, Edradour produces a variety of interesting whiskys. As the small-group tour explains, the distiller goes well beyond using bourbon and sherry casks for aging; using instead other wine casks as well as casks from more “peaty” distilleries. We enjoyed the intimate tasting room here.

Really enjoyed the tour - learned a lot and got to taste some good whisky. Recommend hiking to the Distillery by way of the Black Spout Waterfall. A beautiful hike. If you are not into hiking you can drive to the distillery.

Well worth a visit if you're into whiskey making. The place itself is really picturesque. Our tour guide (Ron?) was absolutely amazing, funny and knowledgeable. He took 2 hours to explain everything to us. We were given samples of two different types of whiskey and there was cream liqueur for anyone who wanted it. The place itself is very interesting, and unusually you can get into the store room to see (and smell) the casks in storage. We really enjoyed it and if you're staying in Pitlochry you can walk there through the woods.

This is a gem of a distillery... the smallest in Scotland. Have a coffee and take the mug home as a keepsake. Great knowledgable guides who take time to explain and answer questions...all with a sense of humour. Good tasting and tasting glass is another keepsake. Whisky is pretty good as well!!
