John was a wonderful host for our tour, and truly educated us on the entire distilling process.
This is the smallest distillery in Scotland, but their story is huge (and so well told).
Well done to John and his colleagues !!

The location of the distillery is absolutely stunning. We walked all the through the countryside to go and visit it. The staff are on hand at all times to help with any questions you may have. It a must to visit.

We very rarely do tours now since we have done so many over many years, but this seriously disappointed me. We walked in the door and they guy asked us if we planned to do the tour. On us saying no, he just left us to get on with it. I heard a couple behind us say that they wanted to do the tour and they were told that the next one was not for 40 mins but we will put you in the tasting room until then. We were ignored since we were not doing the tour and just left to wander around the shop. We actually bought a bottle of Edradour, a bottle of their Edradour Cream a mug and a glass, but it obviously does not matter how much you spend in the shop if you do not do the tour. Don't even go there. Unfriendly comes nowhere near it.

...And I've been on a lot of tours! Our tour guide was just great! We started by viewing a short film and had two tastings. Then we toured the facility. Everything was spotlessly clean and organized. Highly recommend this distillery.

This guided tour (with samplings) was well worth the small cost. We all learned a great deal about the process of distilling Scotch Whiskey and the history of the area. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and it did not take up your whole day..... Beautiful views to the location.
