Had a great meal today at the Moulin Hotel. Really cosy with two roaring fires, which we really appreciated. Food was good, although portions small. Beer was excellent, especially Braveheart. We will be returning!

Had a Christmas gift voucher for 1 night B&B and booked our night away. Due to the bad weather we had to reschedule 3 times and the hotel was very obliging with this.
Room was basic, clean and warm but in serious need of an upgrade. Cheap pine furniture which was chipped and a rotten window frame didn't appeal. So not sure how web page can say rooms recently refurbished. However rest of hotel's deco was what you would expect but perhaps some might find all the taxidermy off-putting.
Afternoon tea on arrival was a delight, breakfast was freshly cooked to order and excellent.
Ate in the pub which again was good food, cooked to order and reasonably priced. Open fires gave a warm friendly atmosphere and place was full.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good banter with customers.
Overall a good break and yes we will be back.
We had a voucher for afternoon tea, breakfast and one nights stay at the hotel. Seemed like a really good deal but to be honest we wouldn’t really pay much more than that for the what we had. The room was really nice and we had a nice time together but looking at the prices we would have paid had we not had a deal we probably wouldn’t be back.
My husband and I wanted 2 spend a couple of nights away with our dog. The Moulin Inn was perfect. It was very reasonably priced with only £100 per night for B&B(only £10 doggie surcharge). Book directly with the hotel for the best rates. It was 20 minute walk into Pitlochry. The breakfast was lovely and the staff seem to work very hard. We ate and drank in the bar both nights with our dog. We will definitely go back.
My wife and I decided to take my Mother away for a couple of days and having stayed in Pitlochry a few times before, we have gone into the pub/restaurant at The Moulin a few times when out for a walk with the dog and have always found it quite welcoming. On that basis we decided to book one of the cottages. The cottage was excellent value and well appointed. We cooked in the cottage the first night and had a lunch and a dinner in the adjacent pub, which was decent quality and not too expensive. I found the staff extremely friendly. Good selection of Malts and they brew their own beer - paradise!
Popped into the Moulin Bar after a few hours out walking to rest and re-fuel. Was the afternoon of the 6 nations match between Scotland & Wales, so a good mix of locals and visitors with cosy fires on the go. Had 2 piping hot bowls of spicy bean soup, one Steak & Ale pie and one Cajun Chicken burger. All excellent and washed down with the very good Braveheart ale. Staff friendly also. Stayed longer than intended as just got too comfy. Note - it does get very busy at peak eating times (which is a good sign).
