I stayed here for only one night with my mother, but we both had a very good night sleep. The room was spotless, the beds were super comfy. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Excellent value for money. What else would you need???

OK - let's get the negative stuff out of the way. Yes, it's around 5 miles out of Perth, on an airfield site, in unexciting surroundings.
But as a practical base it's very good, especially if you're bringing your doggie friend. It's motel-style accommodation, kept very clean and tidy, with well-equipped rooms and renovated bathrooms, pretty much up to the standard of any modern budget chain. Continental-style breakfasts in an adjacent building. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free wi-if. And all for around £48.
In summary, I wouldn't be taking Mrs D here for a romantic weekend, but if we were looking for a few nights exploring, particularly with the dog, and we didn't need to be right in the city centre, a Sky Lodge would fit the bill perfectly.

Stayed here recently for one night, to break the journey to ullapool.
Staff very friendly, quiet location, good sized rooms. And pet friendly, with no extra added costs that other hotels in Perth charge extra.
Breakfast was basic, tea, coffee, toast, etc, no cooked breakfast, that didn't bother me, and it does say that on the website anyway. I would stay here again.

The location is great, beautiful scenery and not far from shops. The room is excellent we stayed in room 102 with us both and two dogs, and with a lino flooring was ideal for dogs. Room was very clean and very tidy and worth the price we paid. We stayed her a few times and will always go back as is ideal for stopover to our family up in Banff. Have to say though guests need to have consideration as we did have kids running up and down corridor this time but a quick scowl sorted them lol !! would benefit if they had mor king size beds rather than doubles. And sockets at side of bed is excellent as travelodge never have this lol

whilst its not a five star hotel this is an excellent place to stay and for the money i would say its better than you get at travelodge!!

Room Tip: Ideal for walkers and anyone else especially with pets

Great use of old airfield training base, room was good size, comfy bed, and chairs..tea/coffee and biscuits..good shower and a bath.. although breakfast was set up in an adjacent building, it was ideal and kept topped up by staff.. it is next to the airport, so expect some noise, but only limited as small planes..and very quiet at night..would definitely stay again...
