Enjoyed a trip around the harbour on one of the few clear evenings last week. Our guide (Mick, I think was his name) was great, really easy going and chimed in with our conversations on and off to give us some very interesting bits of information. It really is a great way to see the harbour, particularly for those who think they are familiar with Cork - this might test your local knowledge!

Arranged a private boat tour for 6 friends with Cork Sea Safaris and what a fun and memorable day. Jason gave lots of information as we travelled around Cork harbour before stopping in Crosshaven for lunch - Cronnin's Pub - fantastic food and well recommended. We then powered up the boat and went out to see heading along the coast towards Kinsale. there was a high swell which made for a really fun and exhilerating experience flying over the waves but we always felt safe and Jason knew the coast really well as we stopped off to look at secluded inlets and deserted beaches. Didn't see any whales or dolphins due to the weather but a few seals came out to see us.
Jason took his time and we never felt rushed and he was happy to change plans to ensure we were getting to see and do exactly what we wanted.
A great day out - don't forget the sunblock.

We booked the 1 hour tour from Monkstown. The trip sits very nicely between 'guided tour' and 'adrenaline rush'. We zoomed around the harbour, stopping along the way to hear about the native flora and fauna, Cobh and the Titanic, and Spike Island. We'd then take off at speed again, crashing through the waves. The swell was pretty high the day we went, so the landings after hitting some of the waves were pretty intense. Jason is a great guide, and we felt very safe in his hands. I would highly recommend this trip, although possibly not for younger children or older passengers if the sea is anyway rough.

WOW. What a way to see Cork, with so many interesting sights along the way as well as lots of activity on the water. If you enjoy the outdoors and a little bit of speed and excitment and want to learn about the local history this trip should be on everyones itinerary. Well done Cork Sea Safari.

I rang Jason to arrange my STAG trip with stops of course. We visited Crosshaven , Aghada and Cobh and had some light refreshments. Then we went out to Mertleville and Fountainstown and had some fun in the wake (rough water) behind and around the ferry that was leaving for France. My father is still talking about it and can't wait to take my Mum out as well. Well worth the fee and Jason is so efficent and its clear that he loves his job. We had a ball and were delivered back to the city in good time to carry on the night. I would recomend this trip for all ages from 10 to 80. An exciting trip and it gives unique views of the largest harbour in the northern hemisphere.
