Must be the best place in Cork for breakfast at least, been coming here for years, staff are very friendly and accommodating, here today with a few retired friends and we are always made feel most welcome.

Great place for breakfast or lunch,,I call here a few times a week with my customers and never had a problem . Food and staff always excellent. The management here are fantastic supporters of all bikers and have sponsored tea, coffee and sandwiches for many a bike charity run that started here. 10/10 for carvery lunch here . Fast ,efficient service and you'll be on the road again before you know it. Call and meet the manager if you want to start a charity bike or vintage car run from here....you won't be disappointed .

There is a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who meet regularly every Sunday for breakfast at the Viaduct Inn. We have never caused any grief to the staff or management and are welcomed with open arms....... until 2 weeks ago. Approx. 20 of us met and had breakfast, paid in full and retired to the standing area outside to allow the smokers among us to have a cigarette. About 10 minutes later the manager approached us and, rather than asking us, he told us that we HAD to move our motorcycles. His attitude was abrupt and unfriendly. After a short discussion we moved our bikes and left. As we were leaving a large American Pink Cadillac with only two people in it pulled up and took up ALL the spaces we had vacated.

We didn't hang around but wouldn't be surprised if the Cadillac driver wasn't asked to move. As regular patrons to the above establishment we felt singled out and pilloried for our pastime.

We would like to ask the Senior Management if this is usual practice towards paying patrons and if so how many car drivers are asked to move their vehicles compared to motorcyclists ???

As the Viaduct Inn was a regular starting point for Charity Motorcycle Runs this extra business is now gone as we have moved to another establishment which will treat us with respect.

We await your reply and apology.

Cork Motorcycle Enthusiasts.

Popped in on Mother's Day for lunch. I had rung ahead as I had collected a family member from hospital and was in crutches. On our arrival Finbarr the manager came out and helped us to find a space before helping my mother in. The place was so busy but again he found two seats for us and the food was brought down. The icing on the cake was the quality of the food This place makes me proud to be Irish. It kicked off a beautiful Mother's Day. Thanks to Finbarr and all his staff
