Went here with some family members. On weekends this place gets very busy so if possible for a group try to reserve a section.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful.
The food itself has a good selection for a carvery. The service at the carvery counter is very fast. I got the roast beef which was very nice. The roast potatoes were a little dry but that is to be expected in a carvery really.
The desert here was very good I got the chocolate fudge cake it was huge.
Definitely recommend this for a carvery.

Ok. Does this place so shares that I can invest in. In all seriousness how can beef be this good. My boyfriend and I have travelled the world and have enjoyed our food amongst other things. A novice when it comes to trip advisor but this needs to be said we have never had better beef than at the viaduct. We were there last Sunday after a night in Cork (where we got engaged) and both the food and friendly staff were unmatchable. You made our trip to cork even more special.
Must Book our engagement party there.
Thanks to Finbarr Alan and all the young staff.

Had lunch today, roast beef.. it was ok but the beef was very dry.. a bit pricey at € 12.50 What struck me was the furniture was in shocking condition ..and seat covers in tatters ..Front of the bar counter was all dirt and stains .. the floor which was concrete needs a proper cleaning ..The hole place needs a good painting .. Pub life today isnt like what it used to be , its a very tough business to try a make a living from.. Saying that.. there is no excuse for it being dirty. Lowering the lunch price may attract more custom.. its not a la carte

We’ve been stopping off here several times
a year on our way to cork but what has happened?
We had the carvery as that was the only option but the smell of urine around the restaurant floor was terrible. We actually had to leave early because of it. Kids had to take dinner in there hands as we could not sit any longer. Very disappointed as it use to be a lovely place to eat.
I don’t think we would be back. Menu and restaurant was always great but hadn’t been the same these last few times..
