We spent our Christmas holiday in county Kerry and drove to Cork to meet family from England. We stayed at the Blarney Stone for the weekend. It was perfectly located within easy walking distance near the Town Center.

The exterior of the business is charming and inviting. There is a very small parking area in front of the business and additional parking available behind the establishment. The room pricing was very reasonable and there is free WiFi.

The staff were very warm and accommodating. We loved the rooms and the interior decor is exquisite. The drapery, light fixtures, furnishings, carpets and layout are all elegantly done. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were scrupulously clean. We had four rooms and each one was immaculate, with thick, lovely bedding and beautifully furnished.

The breakfast served was outstanding. Truly incredible. We had some vegetarians in our family and they thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I had one of the best vegetarian omelettes I have ever eaten!! Perfectly seasoned, light and fluffy with perfectly cooked tomatoes and mushrooms nestled inside. The color was a lovely golden brown.

In addition to your personal order, a side buffet of a variety of cereals, croissants, pastries, jams, and cream are provided. The coffee was superb as was the tea. Very hot and served in substantial silver pots that retained the high temperature throughout our meal.

If you are looking to be close to all the shops, pubs and town center activity the Blarney Stone Guesthouse is a perfect place to stay. Excellent value, I highly recommend it.

Stayed here recently and booked a superior room. Was very disappointed to find ourselves in a shoe box with a minute ensuite. The bed was very comfortable and the house very well presented with a really nice breakfast. But if you are considering a visit here stay in the standard as the superior room was a joke

Very nice B&B about 5/10 minutes walk from the city centre; very close to the university. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with a wonderful bed. The breakfast is great, good choice, fresh and very filling. Choose your time carefully though as it can get crowded if the house is full and everyone goes at the same time. We stayed at the back it was beautifully silent overnight.

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Our room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was superb food and promptly served. The parking at first seem crowded but it was never a problem and there is even more on the back street. It was perfect.
