A excellent hotel just outside Cork City with stunning views, all rooms are large and well maintained with a few individual touches.
Dinner choice and service second to none with a great selection of local offerings.

I booked this hotel for a Mother's Day trip and must say all my expectations were exceeded. The hotel is quirky after undergoing the recent refurbishment

I think the most important things that make hotels stand out are the little touches and this hotel certainly had them, chocolate strawberries on arrival, lavender on the pillow and an in house cinema.

The food is lovely. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel (which is very unusual for me) but all meals and quality of food were superb.

Staff were especially friendly and attentive - even the receptionist remembering your name when they must have checked in hundreds of guests over the weekend.

I would recommend having a car as a bit of a walk in to town but would definitatley stay here again.

Thank you the Montenotte for making Mother's Day 2018

Room Tip: City facing is advised some rooms have an unfortunate view of the car park

This lovely hotel was such a wonderful surprise for us. It is unique, quirky but elegant and homely. The rooms are comfortable and individually decorated...loved the dog ornament. Everything about the hotel was great...food,staff and views. We would definitely return again. One bit of advice, check which way down Middle Glanmire your sat nav takes you as it is a very narrow road and full of taxis for school pick-ups which makes it difficult to navigate.

Myself and my husband stayed for one night in the hotel for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is gorgeous, it has loads of intetesting pieces throughout the hotel. The view of the city is fantastic. Our room was gorgeous, it had everything we needed in it. Even camomile tea and lavender pieces beside the bed. Bed was so comfy. Shower was great. The staff were very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was very good and plenty of cocktails. There is also a lovely garden on the hotel grounds. The breakfast had the best buffet I have seen in an Irish hotel. It had everything you could think of, the honeycomb was a nice treat and try the porridge, its delish.
