Great location, spacious, friendly staff. But the "double bed" wasn't a double bed, just 2 singles pushed together. The beds were uncomfortable and the gap in the middle just made things worse. The window didn't shut properly and being right on the main street made it quite hard to get to sleep. Breakfast was very average.

Stayed for 3 nights recently and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful.
The room was spacious enough with ample storage and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and again very clean with an over bath shower. We found the room to be a quite warm even with the windows open but the receptionist had a fan brought up which helped to cool it. My only issue was that the room could do with brighter lighting and more plug sockets.
Location was very good for the city centre, Temple Bar and other areas and just off the airport link bus stops. The hotel is not in the most appealing of areas but there is a lot of development going on around it (which had no impact on us at all) and I think once this is complete it will make a big difference.
Breakfast is served in the attached Turks Head and although not outstanding was more than adequate.
On the whole considering the comfort levels, location and the helpfulness of the staff I would have no issue in recommending this hotel as a base for sightseeing

Great location, great staff but the room is disappointing
Quiet spacious however needs updating, our view from the lst floor is straight into the air conditioning units so terrible. There is no fridge in the room so unable to keep water cold, no iron just a pants press which didn't get hot enough to do anything
Overall room very disappointing for the cost

Room Tip: Not any rooms with a even number as you will be looking over the air conditioning units

Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Our room has broken light fixtures (complete with a burn mark on the ceiling directly above it clearly from electrical issues), the carpets are stained, bedding old, all of the furniture is completely scratched up, wall paper torn, and only one electrical outlet in the entire room. Clearly this room (and the hallway were in) has seen no TLC in years. Absolutely not worth the €160 we paid each night and absolutely not a 3 Star hotel. Look else where.

If your looking for a basic no frills hotel in the city Centre close to temple bar shopping etc then this hotel is adequate! The front gives a deceiving modern appearance till you get to the rooms! We were probably given one of the worst rooms in the place. Right beside the lift and overlooking busy noisy street. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were in a hurry to go to a concert I would have definitely asked to be moved. The windows had no sound proofing and if it wasn’t for our earplugs we would have been woken even earlier than we were! While the room was clean only one Person could move around the bed at a time. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there were marks on the furniture! Breakfast is served in the dreary Turks head bar downstairs! Very little natural light and had the feel of a nightclub at the end of the night. The staff were pleasant and helpful but the food was just about edible! A bit of money spent on updating the rooms and sound proofing the windows overlooking the street would go a long way to improve the guest experience!!
