Stayed at The Morgan this weekend on Saturday and Sunday night. The hotel was a lovely boutique style hotel and is decorated brilliantly and has it's own quirky style! Loved all the public areas and our room was lovely. The beds were really comfy and loved the contemporary décor. The staff were brilliant in both the reception and the bar/restaurant areas. Visited Dublin for my mothers 'special' birthday and the 2 for 1 mojito vouchers were a lovely touch. Couple of issues were sorted straight away such as one of the rooms had no plug sockets near the mirror, so we asked at reception and when we got back from our night out they had put an extension lead in the room. Breakfast was fab with lots of variety, loved the pancake machine! Bar at night was also very good, the cocktails were lovely! We also had the Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea with prosecco at the hotel bar which was really nice.
The bar is noisy on a Friday and Saturday night as it turns into a nightclub, we got back at about 1.00am and decided to just go in and join in the fun (after my mum had gone to bed!) We had a brilliant time in Dublin and I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a fun filled trip that is central to most things in the city centre.More
