Very friendly reception from the staff. Lovely room. The breakfast was also excellent and plenty of choice. Our room was at the lower level at the back of the property and we didn't hear a sound. The adjoining pub was also very nice and the food we had was excellent.

Room Tip: Despite being on a busy road it was very quiet.

Centrally placed in Rathmines with easy access to local bus routes and Taxi rank.
Very accommodating at reception as we arrived early morning but due to our itinerary we were unable to check in until the evening. Happy to store our luggage securely and then place in our rooms when they were ready.
The bedrooms had all the usual amenities, tea/coffee making, hairdryer, TV.
Very nice bathroom with an excellent shower over bath.
Beds were very comfortable and ours was fairly hard but that was a plus.
Breakfast in the morning had a choice of full Irish and or light continental.
Serve yourself buffet so you could eat what you liked. Well cooked and tasty.
Very helpful staff both at breakfast and reception.
All in All an excellent Hotel to stay at a reasonable price close to the city centre.

Excellent hotel. Lovely efficient friendly staff who went out of their way to help. The hotel has a free secure parking which is a bonus. It is spotless clean and serves a lovely breakfast in a fab setting. The hotel is a few minutes into city in Taxi costing €10. Quirky and fab hotel. I will be back. Thanks everyone at the uppercross house hotel for a job well done.

I stayed here recently on business as I had to be in the area first thing in the morning. It has a real buzz about it and is in an area that one can go out to eat or for a pint as well as stay in the hotel and take in their very fine hospitality. Sleep quality was good, wifi speed was good, service was good and ambience was good. Free parking on site was also provided. I will most certainly be back.

Stayed here in October and it was just great. The man on reception was so lovely and couldn't have been more friendly. We requested a room with a bath and that was no problem. The free car park was a huge bonus and the breakfast was delicious. Very affordable hotel, well worth the money. The best thing was the bed. It was so comfy I really had trouble dragging my boyfriend out in the morning!
