Amazingly kind, helpful, and fun older Owner.

Great size room with a small TV like it should be at a B&B.

Reasonable prices, especially for the week of St. Patrick's Day when almost everywhere is sold out. Una didn't seem to raise her regular rates at all when she definitely could have.

A perfect stop that is not bookable by the web. Just a pleasant phone call, and without a deposit she holds your room. Bit of a walk to Dublin City Center, but a nice way to see more of what the city has to offer.

We were directed to this little B & B when looking for last minute lodging on our first night in Ireland. I was so happy with our stay. Una is a lovely host, friendly and helpful. We were able to choose between two rooms as her other guests had not yet arrived. We chose a room on the top floor, with an en suite bathroom. It was quiet, quaint, and clean. Our only suggestion would be an addition of a mirror in the room.
Una was very helpful, providing directions for our night out, suggestions for dinner and transportation. She arranged for a taxi to pick us up for our night out.
Breakfast was spent chatting with Una and another guest about places to go and things to see. They offered wonderful suggestions and it was lovely talking over breakfast. Una offered the full Irish breakfast, but gladly made us porridge as we are not big breakfast eaters. It was there that we learned our love for Wheaten bread!
Overall, this was a lovely place to stay and would definitely reserve a room here if I ever get to re-visit Ireland.

Una was a very kind and helpful host. She made our first trip to Ireland very comfortable. With the size and quality of her wonderful full Irish breakfast, we often didn't need to eat again until dinner!

Coming from the states, a flight landing at 7am isn't convenient for anyone, but she was very welcoming and allowed us to get a bite to eat and set our bags down so our adventure could begin.

This was our first trip to Ireland. We chose this B&B based on TripAdvisor reviews and were pleased that we did. It was easy to get to by bus from the airport, and it was a quick and easy trip to downtown Dublin by bus for sightseeing the following day. The accommodations were pleasant, the neighborhood quiet, and the breakfast excellent. Our hostess, Una, was so sweet. She was helpful regarding dinner recommendations, bus line information, tourist sites, etc., and even made the extra effort to contact me quickly via email about clothing I'd inadvertently left behind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The single drawback for us was having to carry luggage up several flights of stairs.

Room Tip: If carrying luggage upstairs is an issue, you might want to request a room on the lower floors. I don't think that any are on ground floor.

Access to the house is easy. If you arrive by train or air, there is public transportation. I arrived by ferry and a taxi was about 14 euros.

The house is the route of many buses, simple to go into town because many of them go every few minutes. Temple bar is about 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. The Botanical Garden is about 10 minutes walk from the house. Ms Uma is a great host and helps you with other travel needs with pleasure. Wifi works great. My room, the top floor one, was spacious, clean, simple, and was ensuite. I would say it is overall a 2 star B&B and the rate is fair for August, peak time. Ms. Uma does a great effort to keep the home in good condition and the garden is beautiful.
