I Was received at the Abrae Court Guesthouse with a warm welcome, it is a extremely friendly place, I had a lovely room, and fantastic breakfast. Good transport links to city centre or outskirts. Total value for money, I will definitely stay again when visiting Dublin.

We're visiting Ireland from California and spent our first 3 nights here.

Pros - close to a bus line that will take you into city centre for $2.70. MUCH cheaper than taking a taxi. Cute little suburb with plenty of restaurant options close by. Comfortable beds. Easy and quick check in/check out.

Cons - Our room was absolutely TINY. And the bathroom was even tinier. The shower stall was so small you couldn't move without bumping into the sides. The whole place was a worn out and threadbare.

Luckily it was genuinely just a place to crash while we explored Dublin. We didn't spend much time there, but the environment didn't exactly encourage a lazy morning in the lounge.

Overall for the price we paid, I don't think we could have expected much more. It suited our budget and served as a good home base as we explored the city.

We went to Dublin to watch the six nations match between Ireland and Wales. We had never been to Dublin before and chose the Abrae Court purely on availability and price. Our room was clean and welcoming. Nina was very friendly and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised considering the price we paid. Fully intend to stay here again the next time we visit Dublin.
