Travelled to Dublin weekend of 25th June for friends birthday celebrations. Abrae guesthouse had been one of the cheapest places when booked. Distance wasn't too far from the centre with great transport links.(bus stops outside/down the road)
Took around an hour using public transport from the airport (bought a city link card for €33 for 72hr use-bargain!)
Booked direct through site emailing nina so got the room at a discounted rate.
Twin room with shower. Pleasantly surprised at size of the room. Small flat screen TV, mini fridge and plenty storage.
Beds were comfortable and room overall very clean.
Breakfast was at an additional cost and worth the rate (€6 small cooked breakfast) was very tasty and plenty of it. Extra toast and coffee/tea top ups at no extra cost! Nina was very friendly and a great hostess!
All in all you got what you paid for. Pleasant guesthouse & would stay again!

Stayed here late May on business trip & it was truly enjoyable. Friendly staff & the room was very clean & respectable. Location wise your right at bus routes to the city & a short stroll to Rathgar Village ! Highly recommend for business or leisure !

I think this is probably a good budget option for Dublin but we nevertheless found the service to be a bit spotty and weird here. We had a problem getting a hold of anyone to pay the bill (it's supposed to be staffed at all hours but it was a couple hours before we could find anyone). Manager assured us she would deal with this issue and to her credit she gave us a reduced rate for our troubles. I think if you're on a tight budget this place is great, clean, and gets the job done. Otherwise spend a few extra bucks and get yourself to a better and more centrally located place.

I Was received at the Abrae Court Guesthouse with a warm welcome, it is a extremely friendly place, I had a lovely room, and fantastic breakfast. Good transport links to city centre or outskirts. Total value for money, I will definitely stay again when visiting Dublin.
