It was a busy time - 2pm on a sunny Saturday and we managed to find a great corner seat for four. The service was friendly and prompt and the food excellent. Fish and chips shouldn't be a difficult dish to make, but it seems to vary so much, so maybe it is. This fish was cooked to perfection and the waiter said it was only a smallish piece, but I felt it was just right. I don't eat that many chips and managed to eat them all, so maybe if you are a chip lover, you may be hoping for a few more. It was very noisy, but being right in the centre of Temple Bar area, you would expect that. We found this restaurant by chance, just looking for some great, solid Irish grub, and we were not disappointed.
