The ship was late both times and we had to wait in the pier with the freezing wind. The ship was a deception with minimal round windows. Not what you expect in a sightseeing tour. It seemed a fishing boat. The only good thing was the cliffs and it had nothing to do with the company. The children didn't want to go out in the cold to see the cliffs.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon to Ireland in March and from what we understand it was overall very unusual weather as they very rarely get snow. This day in particular didn't have any snowfall, however it did rain quite a bit which caused the boat tour to be cancelled and we were only able to get to do the jaunting tour. Our guide was GREAT, he was very friendly and the horse was very well mannered. We felt sorry for both of them as they were both completely drenched the whole time! It was very cold as well so I would say that they did very well considering! We would love to book another tour with Killarney Lake Tours when we make our return trip and very much hope that this time the weather will cooperate.

When I was in Killarney, the weather was heavily rainy. Despite the weather conditions during my trip, I enjoyed seeing the lake by traveling around by a boat tour

Picturesque place, great location. If possible take the long trip up the river, is rewarding. I would choose the smaller boats, although open to the elements are better experience. Discuss very clearly with the boat men about your options, the money and the time.

We stopped at the tourist info shop and found out that the next (and probably last due to changing weather) boat would be going out in a couple of minutes. We bought tickets and drov like mad to the dock. We were met with a "slow down, we're waiting for you". The wind was wicked and the water was rough but the hospitality extended made our Cliffs of Moher tour a wonderful experience! Our guide was very informative and friendly. All in all it was a great time! Well worth the cost.
