This beautiful resort is located right near the beach, with many activities and fun camps to do, to entertain the children!

The houses are spacious, and private, with a patio to relax and enjoy the sun! Also, there is a kids park right outside the front, for the most fun.

Weather is not always sunny, and can be erratic - but it's Kerry after all! Bring both warm and cool clothes, and plenty of towels.

It has the most magnificent beach - it's long, and not cramped. Surfing, sand castles and swimming is my favourite. Ice cream trailers are available over the summer too.

And after all the beach fun, you can have a fun night out too, in the pub on the resort. Entertainment is daily - from singers to magicians. Food is delicious also!

A holiday well spent!!!

Just back from week at this resort. Far exceeded expectations. House was spacious, clean and with all necessary amenities. Staff were not in your face, but very helpful and accommodating when help requested.Kids club was excellent. Leisure club facilities great. There were many activities and excellent range of entertainment to keep everyone occupied. Best of all was the feeling that the resort valued the families staying there and did not exploit them or try to get money out of them at events. They could have easily charged for some of the activities provided, but didn't. We certainly hope to return. Kids 11, 5 and 3 loved every minute.

I stayed here with my family- a 2 and 4 year old and my parents. We stayed in the sand dune cottage for 2 weeks. The cottage was a lot bigger than i expected with a great picnic table outside and large grass area for my boys to play on. I was very surprised at how quiet it was especially at night. There was lots for the boys to do- pirate petes was brilliant and they went nearly every day (to think to go to an indoor play area is around £10 for 2 kids and this was included in the price), the swimming pool was great - very big and jacuzzi and bubble area were great (though would have been better if it had a slide in the kids area. My boys loved the disco and characters at night. The shop was basic (though check dates before you buy as i saw several items out of date). It is very close to banna beach which is a beautiful beach and we were lucky the weather was hot for a few days when we were there. It did take about 45 mins to get to killarney to explore that area but the facilities more than made up for it. Our kettle had very bad limescale and as soon as we went to reception they just gave us a new one- no questions asked! (they did explain that the water source is hardwater and so limescale is a problem). Had washing machine, microwave, oven- everything you'd need. We had a fantastic time

Spent a great week in banana beach a very friendly and child orientated place. Lots for the kids to do entertainment every night and lots characters for the kids my 4 year old couldn't believe is his eyes when spongebob, Patrick Micky mouse to name just a few came out it made his week. The accommodation was great well kept and very spacious everything you need was in the house. The beach is just walking distance or 3 mins in car . Would highly recommend this place for young family's you will have a great time

Nicely appointed and spacious house. Comfortable beds and couches. Plentiful supply of hot water, never needed to 'boost' the supply. Only complaint about the accommodation would be that crockery and cutlery were in short supply. There was only enough for one meal, this meant washing-up (or dishwasher) after every meal rather than leaving it all til the evening. Bed linen was supplied and there were plenty of extra pillows. Towels, as stated in booking info, we're not supplied: not even a tea-towel.
Gym and pool facilities were fantastic as was the playground. On site shop was handy. We didn't use the bar or the indoor play facilities or avail of the on site entertainment but these appeared to be well enjoyed by other guests.
We would go back in a heartbeat!
