"B&B" can very often mean in Ireland "extra bedrooms in someone's house". The owners and their family clearly live on the property, but the guest rooms feel much more like an inn here than they did in other B&Bs that we stayed in. The rooms were homey and comfortable and the breakfast and guest gathering areas were tastefully decorated and welcoming. There is a great outdoor play space for kids (we didn't have any with us, but could appreciate it!) and a lovely country setting. Our host(ess), Nicola, could not have been nicer, and was especially sympathetic and helpful when we had a cellphone stolen in Kilkenny. She was a pleasure to talk to! Our only reservation about the B&B is that it is well outside the city on a dark, country road and the sign is not all that well-lit. Our rental car's GPS could not locate it, or even get us close -- Google Maps helped more, but it took a little luck to find our way back late at night!

Room Tip: As in all B&B we stayed in, there is no elevator or means of accessibility to the second floor other than stairs

We stayed here for one night while on holiday in Ireland. This was the 2nd B&B that we stayed in and was the nicest, so much so that I would consider it upscale. Service was friendly and the room & bed was very comfortable. Only complaint would be that wifi signal could be improved but that was not a huge deal for a one night stay.

The woman that runs this B & B is wonderful! She was attentive and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in town and made a fabulous breakfast. Our room was great. A small place with only a few rooms, so you could hear people in the hallways and on the staircase. But overall not a big problem (no issues at night). Our room had a very small shower, but the rooms were large and well equipped with refrigerator, robes and slippers. Had great grounds and was a short drive to downtown Kilkenny. Our upstairs room had a nice view of the Irish countryside.

We really loved staying there!!
The room is decent size - only thing is the shower! It is too small
The view from the room is relaxing and the breakfast very good.
The B&B is very close to Kilkenny City Centre which is very practical!
Thanks!!

This B&B is spotless and has many amenities normally associated with only high end places. Nicola was extremely hospitable and helpful with local places to see, eat and park. Breakfast was superb! We liked Kilkenny a lot and when we return we wouldn't even look at an alternative B&B!

Room Tip: Book early!
