Well, somehow our reservation got mixed up but our wonderful host got our rooms all straight. The owners are lovely, so friendly and helpful with lots of great advice on travel plans. The grounds are great for walking about and our kids loved the deer and one sheep. Our room was very nice, just lovely accomodations. I think it was our stay here that made us realize how much we did not enjoy our next B&B, I would so love to stay here again.

We arrived late evening in Kilkenny and contacted Alan and he luckily had a room available. He actually drove to the city square to meet us and follow him back to the house. The house was lovely, Alan is an excellent cook, and we enjoyed our conversations with him. We stayed three nights and were able to make day trips around the area from Glendine House. The walk into town was very easy and safe. Highly recommend!

Alan the owner is a lovely person, his hospitality is second to none. If your staying g in kilkenny I highly recommend this place to stay. When we were ready to head into the town he drove us down without hesitation and his breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Thanks alan

If you dont mindre staying a couple of km outside the city centrum then this is perfect! Nice surroundings and nice staff!

The room is clean and spaceous you even get a good size bathroom :)

A couple of 100m away you got the closest bar/restaurant. A well made meal for 12E.

The money spent is more than well worth it!

A gorgeous building a little outside the centre of Kilkenny, but easily walkable.

Alan made us feel right at home, and our room had a lovely double bed, a gorgeous fireplace, wonderful high ceilings and a pleasant surprise in underfloor heating in the bathroom!

Great for a quiet and relaxing stay in Kilkenny - the horses outside the window only add to the sense of calm.
